Welcome to the cheats for NCAA Football '98 for the PlayStation. Below are the cheats.
Random stadium
At the stadium selection screen, press L1 + R1.
Forced CPU fumble
When the ball is in the air immediately after the center snaps the ball during a field goal or extra point attempt, press Start. Then, select the "Resume Game" option to return to the game.
Show-off
After bringing the ball inside the 5-yard line, hold L2 + R2.
Touchdown celebrations
After scoring, hold L1 + L2 and press X, Square, R1, or Triangle. Note: Usually pressing Triangle will result in an unsportsman-like conduct call.
Alternate loading music
When the menus load, hold Square or X to hear rock or funk music.
Coverage audibles
Select a defense, then enter one of the following controller actions to call the corresponding coverage audible:
Cheat Codes
Enter one of the following passwords at the user records screen to activate the corresponding cheat function. If you entered the code correclty, the phrase "It's in the game" will be spoken.
Hidden teams
Enter one of the following passwords at the user records screen. If you entered the code correclty, the phrase "It's in the game" will be spoken. Note: Teams enabled by the codes may only be selected in exhibition mode.
